The event featured Konosuke Takeshita vs. Hirooki Goto for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship, Tanahashi’s hometown showdown with Yota Tsuji for the IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship, and SHO & DOUKI vs. Robbie X & Taiji Ishimori in the deciding match of the 2025 Super Junior Tag League.
