Francesco is a former conductor with Alzheimer's, a tough and lonely man who has been battling the disease for several years. Seeing Mary that night he mistakes her for his daughter who died so many years earlier. Illness gives him the opportunity to relive that relationship. The two will then spend this bizarre night together where, trying to get something from each other, they will manage to find a strange balance.
