Garden of Silences

The story of Tuã, a Black oncologist who, as a child, leaves Brazil with his mother after his family endures a series of tragedies during the military dictatorship. Years later, as an adult living in Italy, he is overcome by unfamiliar feelings following his mother’s death. Shaken by this quiet turmoil, Tuã decides to return to Bahia to reunite with his grandparents, revisit his past, and discover new meanings for the present.
