Papagayo

A month after the Hamas attack and Israel's bloody retaliation, which marks the beginning of the genocide of Palestinians in Gaza, an Israeli illustrator living in Spain breaks up with her long-term partner, a Spanish filmmaker of Syrian origin. Omar decides to continue working on the film they had been making together, using footage shot in the Middle East and the unfinished drawings left behind by his beloved. A story about religious fanaticism and its absurdities, and a painful dissection of the relationship between two people who wanted to be together despite their cultural differences.
