Interviewing financiers, experts and thinkers, the film confronts antagonistic points of view and multiplies concrete examples of populations and natural environments threatened by these new practices. The investigation provides a vast panorama of the interests at stake and the lobbies at work around this "new" natural capital, ultimately asking what values are really defended by those who attribute a cost to nature. A new financial crisis could indeed result from speculation and the collapse of these new markets...
