Biography
*Mohit Chattopadhyay (1934–2012) was an acclaimed Bengali playwright, poet and screenwriter, best known for his pioneering contribution to experimental Bengali theatre. He wrote over 100 plays and also collaborated with filmmaker Mrinal Sen on films such as Mrigayaa and Genesis. He received the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award for Playwriting in 1991*.
