Biography

Katerina Kouka (Greek: Κατερίνα Κούκα, born December 22, 1960, in Irakleia, Serres) is a Greek laiko (popular folk) singer. Her family roots are in Vamvakofyto, Serres. She began her singing career at the age of 27 at the boîte (intimate music venue) "Empati." There, Giorgos Marinos discovered her and proposed a collaboration at the "Medousa" music venue.
