Biography
Worked for the Animation Studios of the Cuba Film Industry (ICAIC) from 1972 to 1994, first as an In-Between, later as a Key Animator for short and features, and ended as a Short Film Director, and won National & International Awards.
From 1994 to 2000 Moved to Caracas, Venezuela where he worked as a Creative for Merlin Interactive Systems, creating Stories, Designing Characters, Making 2D animations, Supervising 3D Animations for CD Edutaiments for kids. From 2000 lives in Miami, USA, where he worked for Local TV Networks doing Graphic Designs and Animations. As a free-lance made Commercials, Animations, Logos, Posters, Postcards, Buzz Cards, etc. Made an Animation Series for a Human Rights Foundation and worked as a Photographer for some events.
Started as an ASIFA Animation Workshop Instructor in 1993 and since then has made animation workshops in Merida, Venezuela; Havana, Cuba; Lillehammer, Norway; Caracas, Venezuela and Miami, USA.
