Biography

Dr. Venus Nicolino, best known as "Dr. V," is a renowned relationship expert, media personality and host of WeTV's Marriage Boot Camp. Dr. V recently became a Bestselling Author and debuted at #1 on the LA TIMES with the release of her first book, "Bad Advice: How to Survive and Thrive in an Age of Bullshit" (HarperCollins).

Simultaneously smart and irreverent, Dr. V fuses the brains and insight of a nerdy Ph.D. with the heart of a doting Italian Mother and the artful profanity of a Philly trucker. Now entering her eighth season of Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars, Dr. V first appeared on Bravo's L.A. Shrinks in 2013.

Since then, she's been featured on Real Housewives of New Jersey, Millionaire Matchmaker, Watch What Happens Live, The Dr. Oz Show, The Real and Rachael Ray, KTLA5, SiriusXM, Fox News, CBS News, and many others. In addition, Dr. V regularly appears on The Steve Harvey Show for Straight Talk Panel.

Dr. V holds a Masters Degree from New York University in Counseling Psychology, a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology and a Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology.
