Geeta Rai

Biography

Geeta Rai was born in Pune, India and moved to the US in 1993. Acting is her passion and joy from a very young age and she completed her diploma from the Trinity College of London, Speech, and Drama division with distinction, before 10th grade.(offered as an extracurricular in her school). She pursued theater throughout high school and college. She earned 2 MBA degrees, from Pune University, India, and Drexel University, Philadelphia and committed to corporate life for 15 years before pivoting to become a full-time Actor. She took classes at the Foothill Theater Conservatory Program in Bay Area CA and trains with renowned acting coaches locally and from LA. She has acted in plays, shorts and feature films in the Bay Area and auditions in San Francisco Bay area and Los Angeles. A Vipassana practitioner, widely traveled, she lives by the philosophy that if you have not made laughed with someone every day, you have not lived. Geeta resides in the Bay Area, CA with her family.
