Nicky Illis

Biography

Nicky Illis was a British television producer and director best known for her work in factual and arts programming. She helped develop Fake or Fortune? and remained one of its principal directors for many years, also working on programmes including Antiques Roadshow, How We Built Britain and A Picture of Britain. Illis was born in Durham in 1971 and died in 2024 at the age of 53.
