Tristen Pon

Biography

Tristen Vernon Pon (born July 15, 2001) is an Asian American film director, screenwriter, producer, and actor. Born in San Francisco, California, he graduated from Emerson College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Visual Media Arts. Tristen is best known for co-writing and directing A Better Man (2023) alongside Dellin Zhang. He also served as the producer, director of photography, and co-director for the visual EP by Chase Sullivan For What’s Worse (2024). In addition, he is one of the producers for the upcoming trans coming-of-age short film Attaboy.

Currently based in Los Angeles, Tristen is passionate about filmmaking and acting, continuously seeking to tell unique and diverse stories that foster a sense of community among talented individuals.
