Winiffer Galarza

Biography

Winiffer Galarza, better known as “Winner,” is an Ecuadorian audiovisual filmmaker. Her interests focus on film production, particularly cinematography, as well as art direction and, occasionally, acting and sound. She has participated in academic and independent audiovisual projects, gaining experience in different areas of production while exploring new ways of telling stories through film. Additionally, she has been involved in various events related to the audiovisual field, such as the Cámara Lúcida Film Festival and Comic Con Ecuador.

Although she does not consider herself a complete cinephile, she enjoys staying connected to the film world, describing her relationship with the seventh art as one of love and hate.
