Biography
Paola Gadala-Maria is a New York-based, Miami-raised filmmaker of Hispanic and Middle Eastern descent. She began her career in documentary filmmaking before expanding into commercial and narrative video production. She is a graduate of Villanova University and works fluently in English, French, and Spanish.
Her credits include producing feature documentaries covering the U.S. penitentiary system, directing marketing content for companies such as Scholastic, and serving as a story producer on Netflix's documentary series Under Pressure: The U.S. Women's World Cup Team, which followed the U.S. Women's National Team through the World Cup. She has also worked on Fight for Glory: 2024 World Series and For Venida, For Kalief, and contributed to the narrative feature Rob Peace.
