Masha Gorkova

Biography

Masha Gorkova was born in 2008 in Southern Ukraine. She relocated to Portugal in 2022. She is currently studying filmmaking at TUMO Lisboa.

Masha has participated as a jury member for the European Film Academy Young Audience Award 2024 and took part of the Junior Jury at the PLAY Film Festival 2025. "Changes" is her debut short film. "Changes" premiered at the Future World Film Festival and received the "Youth Revelation - Fiction" award. After that she collaborated with Bianca and Aria Ashong on her second short film titled "Thin ICE". They completed the post-production of "Thin ICE" in September of 2026.
