Biography

Qivlan Alvino is a filmmaker, director, and scriptwriter based in Yogyakarta. He is known as a young filmmaker who actively explores a wide range of genres and visual approaches, from thriller and absurd comedy to experimental cinema. His first film, Anatomy of a Courier, marked the beginning of his cinematic journey, showcasing his interest in atmosphere, tension, and character dynamics. In addition to directing, Alvino also works as a scriptwriter for projects such as the film The Wheel of Life and the music video Ratuku. Through his creative process, he often brings personal unrest, absurdity, and emotional exploration into evolving visual forms. Qivlan Alvino is also an internal member of Joglo Production. Alvino also Directed a short films includes Anatomy of a Courier, Awas Maling!, and Back to the Weed.
