Jamie Weal

Biography

Jamie Weal is an Isle of Wight filmmaker, writer and actor working across independent film and digital media. He has developed a multidisciplinary approach to filmmaking, contributing to productions as a director, screenwriter, editor and performer.

Weal made his filmmaking debut with a series of independent projects, establishing a particular interest in genre-driven storytelling and original screen concepts. His credits include Nurse When, a science-fiction comedy short which he directed, wrote, edited and starred in, and The Luck of a Fool, in which he appears as The Fool and also holds a writing credit.

Alongside his work in front of the camera, Weal has contributed to film productions in creative and technical roles, including props. He continues to develop his body of work through independent filmmaking, with a focus on directing, writing and performance.
