Bouzid Ould Hocine (Arabic: بوزيد ولد حسين), born in 1959 in Marrakesh, is an Algerian filmmaker and state-certified engineer in industrial chemistry (specializing in environmental engineering), having studied at the University of Science and Technology of Algiers. He produced scientific films for the Institute of Marine Sciences in Algiers from 1983 to 2000. He has directed several films, notably Sur les Rives de Taza (2005), Adam et Mohamed, un destin croisé (2006), Matahat (2006), Féminin Pluriel, Il Faut sauver les Foggaras du Touat (2008), Aux Armes Indigènes (2014), and Snin El Hemme, Les Années de Malheurs (2025)...
