Ruby Goodyear

Biography

Ruby Goodyear is a young New Zealand performer with a strong interest in theatre and Shakespearean performance. She has achieved national recognition through the Shakespeare Globe Centre New Zealand competitions, including receiving the Two Actors Who Showed the Strongest and Most Truthful Connection award for her performance as Rosalind in As You Like It in 2024. She has continued performing with Mount Maunganui College’s Shakespeare programme, including its nationally successful Julius Caesar production in 2025.
