On this episode of Ball In The Family, Denise and D-Mo set out to throw Lonzo a huge birthday bash for his 20th birthday to get him out of his shell. Meanwhile, Melo enjoys the freedom of not being in school.
5Gelo Has Been Detained
The Big Baller family prepares for their trip to China to host some BBB pop-ups and to support Gelo as he plays his first game with the UCLA Bruins in Hangzhou. Melo takes Mandarin lessons and he is devastated to discover that there is no social media allowed in China. Lavar and Tina get into an argument when they succumb to the stress of moving into their mansion before leaving. Gelo travels ahead of the family with the UCLA Bruins Team while Lavar, Tina, and Melo fly separately. Unfortunately, what starts as a fun family trip quickly turns into a nightmare when the family finds out that Gelo has been arrested for shoplifting.
6A Mother's Love
In the wake of Gelo’s arrest, Lavar and Tina are powerless to help their son facing imprisonment in Hangzhou, China on this week’s episode of Ball In The Family.
7Gelo's Fate
Gelo writes a sincere letter of apology that proves vital in determining his future and eventually returns home much to the relief of his entire family. Meanwhile, BBB goes global with pop-up shops in Shanghai and Hong Kong, on this week's episode of Ball In The Family.
8A Very Thankful Ballsgiving
Upon returning back to the United States, Gelo releases a statement apologizing for his actions. With everyone back together, the family finds time to celebrate Thanksgiving at the Ball Estate and Tina gets emotional at having all her boys home with her.
9Gelo’s Birthday Wish
Gelo and the Ball family celebrate his birthday, but the event is bittersweet after they find out he’s been suspended. Fearing that this decision may affect Gelo’s chances at a pro-career, Lavar yanks Gelo from the program in search of other options.
10The Future of the Ball Boys
With Gelo no longer in the Bruin basketball program, he moves out of his apartment at UCLA and back at home much to the delight of his mother, Tina. Meanwhile, Lavar has Gelo and Melo’s agent on the hunt for a pro-team overseas for both his boys to sign with. The family then takes a trip to the East Coast to show support for Lonzo as he wins a clutch game against the Philadelphia 76ers, inspiring Gelo towards greatness wherever he lands next which is revealed to be either Japan, Lithuania or Croatia.
11Melo and Gelo Go Pro
The Ball fam heads to NYC for their BBB pop-up shop, but it’s Tina who steals the show. Meanwhile, the boys make some big plans for Tina’s 50th birthday. Melo and Gelo give her the best present yet… her watching them sign pro-contracts with a team in Lithuania.
12Strong Moves
In NYC, Lavar says goodbye to his sons to return to Los Angeles on pressing BBB business while D-Mo takes Melo and Gelo to Cleveland to see Lonzo play against his childhood idol, LeBron James. Back in LA, Lavar makes an announcement that sends shockwaves through the sports world, the formation of the Junior Basketball League.
13A Big Baller Christmas
Melo and Gelo prep for their upcoming trip to Lithuania and purchase some cold weather gear. Meanwhile, the Ball family gets to celebrate a very special Christmas together at the Ball Estate just before their big trip. Europe, here they come!
14Welcome To Lithuania!
The Ball family arrives in Lithuania in true Big Baller fashion with a grand reception by the Lithuanian press and the executive staff from Team Vytautas. Between the five star hotel accommodations and red carpet treatment, the family is positive this will be a great opportunity for Gelo and Melo. Lavar strikes up a friendship with the coach while Gelo seamlessly integrates himself with his team and impresses the coaching staff with his style of play. Melo, however, struggles in practice and with meshing with his much older teammates, souring his feelings on being in Lithuania altogether. Finally, when the team loses its next game by almost sixty points, the family turns suspect towards their future with this team.
15Fully Committed
Despite a rocky start with the Lithuanian professional basketball team, Vytautas, Lavar commits his youngest son Melo to two years with the organization because the coach has assured Lavar he will prepare him for the NBA. The family cuts ties with ESPN reporter, Jeff Goodman, because they feel he falsely represented Lavar in an interview.
16The Two-Year Plan
Lavar breaks the news to Melo that he has committed him to play in Lithuania for the next two seasons. Unhappy with the move, Melo cops a bit of an attitude. When Lavar finds out they will be drop a Division if the team does not win seven of the next twelve games he pledges to turn up the heat.
17Meeting Halfway
After witnessing another embarrassing loss, Lavar’s patience with the coach and his losing ways has come to an end. In the end, Lavar decides to coach the next BBB game himself putting the weight of the team’s future on his shoulders. The boys attend a cryotherapy session and Gelo exposes a secret he’s been hiding.
18Tina’s Courage
When Lavar is invited to the M.A.M.A. Awards as a presenter, Tina is a bit insecure about walking the red carpet because she hasn’t attended a public event since her stroke. However, Tina is determined to trudge forward and attend the ceremony with her family on this episode of Ball In The Family.
19Baby Baller Alert!
In this episode of Ball In The Family, Lonzo and Denise happily reveal that she is five months pregnant and they are eager to make a formal announcement to the world. Lavar voices his concern thinking that the couple is too young to be parents while the rest of the family share their support and excitement over the new ‘Baby Baller’ on the way!
20London Bound
The Ball family travel to London for a pop-up shop and to explore the opportunity to play an exhibition game with a local team. While sight-seeing, Lavar and Tina reminisce over the days when they were a young couple and Lavar proposed to her in London. After heading back to LA, Lavar gets a surprise from Lonzo at his album release party.
21Fatherly Advice
Lonzo takes a quick boys trip to Miami while the NBA is on break and expresses his excitement over being a father. Lavar imparts some fatherly advice on Lonzo and Denise on a trip back home with Tina. Back in Lithuania, with their parents in LA, Melo and Gelo get into some mischief while on break from Team Vytautas.
22Naming The Next Generation
Lavar returns to Lithuania with a positive attitude and determination to turn the losing culture of the team into a winning one. Meanwhile, Lonzo and Denise reveal the name of their baby girl to Tina and the family during their first sonogram.
23Working Vacation
Lavar decides to take his sons to Barcelona for a three day work intensive vacation to get their minds and bodies back on track. Meanwhile, Denise gets some quality time with Tina and Noni learning how to make organic baby food and discovering some fun facts about how the Ball brothers were raised.
24Draft Eligiblefinale
With the team on yet another losing streak, Lavar has lost all confidence in the coach and sets his sights on a new plan. Back in the United States, Denise joins Lonzo in New Orleans on his road trip with the Lakers. As they anticipate the birth of their baby girl, a confident Zo is sure that he doesn’t need to take a ‘baby class’ causing his friends and Denise to step in and encourage him.
