The History of Masters of the Universe (1987) & How It Helped Bankrupt a Studio

Way back in 1987 Canon Films bet big on a film based on He Man and The Masters of the Universe. The resulting film, just called Masters of the Universe, satisfied no one and helped to put Cannon Films out of business.
