1Crime scene
The law doctors induct the viewer into the 'crime scene'. With which clues do they solve a murder mystery? In what situations were they misled? Which last story does a corpse tell? And: does every murder reveal its secret(s)?
2From cutting table to court
The coroner can only make an in-depth report by cutting the corpse open on the autopsy table. He defends this report in court. There he can expect fierce opposition from lawyers and counter-experts.
3On a mission
The law doctors tell how they experienced large-scale humanitarian missions: mass graves after the genocide in Kosovo, the Ebola epidemic in Sierra Leone and the attacks in Maalbeek and Zaventem.
4Witnesses to life and death
Law doctors are witnessing worrying phenomena: extreme loneliness, increased drug use and suicide among young people. They also draw up the final balance: do the law doctors believe in a life after death?
5In the mind of the offender
After the law doctors we meet the court psychiatrists. They read the spirit of murderous psychopaths like Andràs Pàndy or Ronald Janssen. How do they do that? How do they answer with certainty the question: accountable or not?
6From report to judgmentfinale
During murder trials, there is often a clash between experts and counter-experts about the offender's diagnosis. Psychiatrists look back on the commotion surrounding various assize processes. Finally, they give their views on the era of porn, burn-out and 'the evil of man'.
