In season 2, the recruits are faced with the harsh reality of winter warfare training on the mountains of New Zealand. They face the ice breaker drill where they are submerged in a frozen lake to find their body temperature plummeting to near hypothermic levels. They attempt a treacherous ravine crossing atop a 4700 ft snowcapped mountain peak as well as an emergency escape out of a helicopter submerged deep in icy waters.
1Far from Home
A new troop of 14 household names face the harsh reality of winter warfare training.
2Exposure
The remaining recruits are tasked with submerging themselves in icy water and then simulate infiltrating enemy infrastructure by racing each other down a 330 foot dam.
3Panic
The celebrity recruits are put to the test of safely protecting a convoy under a surprise attack.
4Character
As a test of their character, they are tasked with a 2-mile race, navigating treacherous terrain, while carrying a 220-pound boat.
5Pressure
The remaining recruits are taken to the top of a mountain range to face the most demanding exercise of selection so far using a single rope to crawl across a deadly ravine.
6Survival
The recruits face the most dangerous task yet, a helicopter survival drill, as a test of their ability to mentally handle a life-or-death situation.
7Grit
The recruits are taken to a remote mountain range where they are tasked with pulling sleds through two miles of dangerous terrain, then later escaping invasion from enemy hunters, before they take on their last 24 hours of selection.
8Capture
The recruits are captured and taken into their final stage of selection: 12 hours of military-grade interrogation; resistance and the will to survive are key, and only the strongest recruits pass the course.
