When Altruman's new neighbours drop by to introduce themselves they discover a superhero in crisis - depressed, lonely and bearing a terrible secret. With his new friends he finds fresh strength to face his challenge.
2Episode 2
Altruman's parents visit him in hospital and his health scare prompts a confrontation with his father, opening old wounds that have been festering for years. Altruman meets Maggie, a nurse, and there's instant chemistry.
3Episode 3
Altruman and Maggie have been seeing each other for a while. When Maggie pushes to turn the relationship into something more formal Altruman gets nervous and backs away.
4Episode 4
Altruman has a long-awaited meeting and performance appraisal with his flaky sidekick, Diceman, who reveals that he is questioning his own suitability for being a superhero.
5Episode 5
Altruman attends a body corporate meeting for his block of flats where he gets to witness, in microcosm, society's inherent selfishness and lack of respect for his good deeds.
6Episode 6finale
Some time later Altruman and Maggie are on a weekend getaway at a fancy B & B, but Altruman is distracted by the fallout from his change of career, and clearly very bitter.
