Jesse Mitchell

In the early hours of 16 October 2024, first-year student Jesse Mitchell was murdered in Stellenbosch. On his 19th birthday. He was stabbed in the neck while riding an electric bicycle past Rudolf Hufke. Mitchell was fatally wounded.
