1Turkey and Brackenfern

2Alewives and Birch Syrup

3Black Buck and Wild Salad

Daniel heads back to North Dakota for another hunt with Travis Goodbull Man Condon to harvest two overlooked ingredients hiding under the Dakota soil. Linda Black Elk leads Daniel on a forage with her family and cooks an unforgettable meal anchored in the indigenous ingredients of North America.
5Wisconsin Crayfish and Cattails
Daniel steps into the wild food world of foraging great Sam Thayer and the culinary universe of Chef Alan Bergo to explore the biodiversity and flavors of Wisconsin. They pick berries, forage underwater for shoots, and chase crayfish to create a once and a lifetime meal!
6Axis Deer
Back on Molokai, Daniel and Ku are culling the island's Axis Deer herd, capturing crabs with Ku's grandmother, making sea salt on the cliffs and bringing all their ingredients back to a classic Hawaiian Luau with friends and family.
7Swordfish and Maryland Fish and Crabs
A hundred miles out, over the continental shelf, Daniel chases swordfish on the Primary Search, and Captain Austin Ensor takes him crabbing and clamming on Maryland's coast. Daniel pushes inland for the largest fruit in North America, the famous, if not slightly strange, paw paw.
8Archery Deer, Mackerel and Mushroom
Maine's expanded archery zone is a small coastal region dotted with islands. Daniel heads out to an uninhabited island in search of whitetails, and into the forest to gather some coveted fall mushrooms in the hopes of an unforgettable autumn meal.
9Sea Duck and Autumn Olive
In early winter, Daniel and friends head out for a sea duck hunt on Maine's Atlantic shores. Battling the elements, they pull out all the stops for a truly unforgettable duck hunt and pair their birds with the invasive but delicious autumn olive.
10Snowshoe Hare and Black Walnuts
Winter in Maine has Daniel and Chef Tony Seichrist chasing snowshoe hares with beagles in the cold. A final dinner pairs them with black walnuts Daniel harvests in Missouri with a 3rd generation company devoted to wild food.
