Vanessa meets with a network censor to find out what she can and can't say and do in a show about sexuality. She opens up to her friend Telly and meets with a sexologist to talk about her shame around sex.
2Gender
Vanessa has never felt completely female. She hangs out with her friend Alex from "Glee," who knows all about gender questions and being in the public eye. She meets with a gender therapist to understand the meaning of gender fluidity and where she falls on the spectrum.
3Taboo
Vanessa has long standing questions about sex and wonders why the topic is so taboo. She meets with a teacher from Planned Parenthood and fellow actress Lina Esco who started the Free the Nipple campaign. Vanessa finally lets go of a longterm body insecruity.
4Turn On
Vanessa has secrets she has not even shared with her closest friends. She finally faces what and who turns her on sexually when she meets with Dr. Zak and professional dominant Sir Nik.
5Purity
Vanessa is curious about purity and how sexuality is expressed when someone is waiting until marriage. She meets with a priest, a missionary who teaching teens about chastity, and a faith based art group who has a found a creative way to simultaneously maintain their religious beliefs and fully express their sexuality.
6Relationship
Vanessa's worried about how her sexuality might effect her engagement. She meets with a sexually fluid couple, and talks to her fiancé about what her sexuaity means for their future. What happens when they disagree about the meaning of an open relationship? Will their relationship last?
