In the late 1950s on Jersey, a masked attacker terrorised residents with rapes and assaults. Decades later, child abuse cases rose while police failed to act. In the 2000s, a new police chief uncovered efforts by high officials to bury the case, fueling suspicions that "Jersey's system" was complicit.
2The 8th Senator
In 2008, Operation Rectangle uncovers horrific abuse at Jersey's Haut de la Garenne orphanage. With a minister's help, the scandal goes public and becomes international. A child's skull found in hidden caves deepens the case, threatening the island's powerful - yet "Jersey’s system" still fights to survive.
3The Counterattack
Things don't add up. The previously found skull turns out to be... a coconut! The investigation is immediately ridiculed by the media and the police director is dismissed. Meanwhile, the victims' voices remain unheard. All seems lost, until a peculiar alliance is formed by a local plumber and a lobster fisherman who decide to launch a media counterattack!
