Home Life in the Stone Age

The late Stone Age houses of Skara Brae are unique survivals in Britain. Because there were no trees in Orkney, even their furniture was largely made of stone. It is therefore an exciting place in which to re-create an imaginary picture of the lives of the inhabitants.
