Famous singer and prolific filmmaker Avi Bitter has reached a low point in his career: creditors are breathing down his neck, his status as a leading Mizrahi singer is beginning to fade, and he has not made a film in years. Avi embarks on a make-or-break journey - to produce his newest and most successful film yet and finally dig himself out of the hole he is in. This time, he sets out to make a film that will appeal to the cultural elite as well, with hopes of earning a nomination for Israel's equivalent of the Oscars.
