1The Virus
A few ‘rascals’ who enjoy scaring others, and a vision from Michael Mack and singer Marc Terenzi: put simply, that’s how the TRAUMATICA phenomenon began 20 years ago. In the first of a total of four episodes of THE TRAUMATICA STORY, you’ll find out lots of background information, including what ‘Skull Kingdom’ in Orlando has to do with the award-winning horror show in Rust, and much more.
2The Outbreak
After its launch in 2007, the event—then still known as Horror Nights—rapidly expanded to include four mazes in the Italian themed area. The enthusiasm for thrills and darkness grew year after year. In the second episode of THE TRAUMATICA STORY, you’ll learn how the scare attractions became increasingly elaborate, how the especfially composed music evolved, and what was most important for the performers when creating those moments of terror.
3Evolution
Its own infrastructure, its own organization, its own processes: What once began as part of Europa-Park had long since grown into an event in its own right. With each passing year, the standards for Horror Nights rose: The quality kept improving, the productions became more elaborate, and the scale grew larger.
