1Going astray
Rosa and Steen, a couple from Southern Jutland, are used to working together on everything. But maps and compasses are a whole new challenge for them. Family man Simon has the long leg ahead on the hike. He hopes to put his life into perspective. And for the first time ever, an old acquaintance returns to the wilderness to take revenge.
2The evacuation
Nature guide Rikke wouldn't want to go into the wilderness with anyone other than her father Aslak. And they have come to win. Ulla, an engineer, has just turned 60 and goes into the wilderness on a solo adventure. Ulla sees opportunities in everything she finds along the way. However, a severe weather forecast changes the plans for both teams, who have to be evacuated.
3Wind and dreams of housing
Friends Ester and Anna-Caroline have big dreams of living in the wilderness, even though they have never built a shelter before. Creative solutions are needed for father Aslak and daughter Rikke, who are struggling to get the smoke out of their new home. At the military friends' house, Katrine struggles to find the energy for the building projects, and Katja has to do the heavy lifting. Maybe they don't share the same dream after all?
4In a precarious situation
Solo participant Ulla takes on a boat project to get more fish. Military friends Katrine and Katja disagree about when to go home. The other pair of friends, Anna-Caroline and Ester, are struggling for food and wondering how long they can last in the wilderness.
5Why am I here?
The battle in the wilderness intensifies and brings up emotions. Friends Ester and Anna-Caroline are short of food and have to stop and remind themselves why they signed up for a trip into the wilderness. Nature guide Rikke also reminds herself of what she wants to achieve and why she left her children and went into the wilderness with her father.
6An uninvited visitor
Everyday life has returned to the wilderness, but there is still a birthday to celebrate in one of the teams. Several participants mysteriously lose their precious catch to an intruder. All those remaining try to keep their energy and courage up. Is it a fresh morning dip or home improvements and details that are needed?
7Frozen finalfinale
There are three teams left in the wilderness. Pain and lack of sleep are pushing one team member to the limit, while his partner is busy with an art project and taking off his clothes. For another team, the doctor warns against the cold nights and hypothermia and orders the shelter to be insulated with moss. When is it time to go home from the wilderness? And who will be picked up by the family as the winner of Alone in the Wilderness?
