1One of These Days
Months after Rosalie's death, Carmine restructures the family into functional roles and introduces Nina Valera as a competitor who needs to be handled or absorbed. Elena discovers posthumous bank payments flowing through an account registered to Rosalie's name, suggesting Tony's financial empire has been running as a ghost since his death. Rudy, still alive and haunted, learns from a source that Juan had a packed bag the night he died, suggesting the murder was premeditated by someone with inside knowledge. That doesn’t sit right with him. We meet Mick's girlfriend, Tara. She makes Mick feel loved. Carmine warns Vincent over drinks that his father died because he forgot to look beside him.
2Family Affair
Carmine hosts a formal dinner and announces a partnership with Nina Valera, revealing she is the daughter of the Moretti family and that the family's old debt has not disappeared but changed hands. Elena discovers Nina's company and Carmine's finances are tied to the same transactions, meaning they are laundering each other. Carla later finds that Nina purchased Rosalie's unfinished painting and logged it under a private collection. Elena gets locked inside a diocese building while investigating a Carmine-linked shell company before escaping into the rain, and Nina catches Carla's eye at the dinner table and holds it.
3I'm Gonna Move to the Outskirts
Mick secretly starts driving out of Newark with his girlfriend, Tara, but quickly regrets the decision and turns the car around. Vincent secretly buys land on the outskirts of Newark under a false name as a private exit plan. Carla confronts him there and he admits it is his way out when things finally collapse. Dominic discovers his own name has been forged onto falsified ledgers to frame him out of dock operations. Elena breaks into a diocese storage room and finds counterfeit bonds tied to Nina Valera before Carmine appears and tells her to stop following ghosts. Rudy meets Nina privately and realizes she considers him an accessory rather than a partner.
4Midnight Rider
Rudy gives Vincent photographs showing Nina has been meeting with federal agents. Elena is anonymously directed to a rural gas station where she finds a dead FBI agent in the trunk of a car, then watches Carmine's sedan arrive seconds later. All threads converge in a rainstorm at the docks, where Dominic and Vincent collide and draw guns before the standoff explodes into a three-way shootout with Carmine's arriving men. Rudy and Dominic are shot, and Vincent drags Dominic behind cover while Elena moves in screaming for everyone to drop their weapons.
5The Dolphins
Vincent and Carla are questioned separately after the docks shootout and give investigators nothing. Rudy wakes in a hospital bed to find Nina sitting beside him, suggesting she engineered the previous night's events. The family visits a hospitalized Dominic and the argument over everything that led here turns raw. Elena files her report on the shootout and her captain deletes it from the system, telling her she will not expose anyone in the Valera network. Rudy disappears from his hospital room overnight. Carmine is confirmed alive and beardless, with a new passport on a motel table.
6Red River Rock
Carmine returns and walks into a Valera Holdings meeting, drops photographs of Nina's federal contacts on the table, and orders everyone in the room killed except Nina, leaving her alive as a warning. The Bellottis plan Carmine's death together, with Vincent rigging an explosive in a van, Mick taking the warehouse catwalks, and Carla luring a lieutenant before shooting him to extract Carmine's location. The three converge on the warehouse, and after a brutal fight where Mick is shot in the shoulder and Carla takes a hit, Carla interrupts Carmine's monologue as it gets more and more hateful and shoots him in the forehead. He falls backward into pooling water from a burst pipe and dies. Elena photographs the scene in the rain.
7Jean Claude
A full flashback episode set in 1978 Newark follows the rise of young Tony Bellotti and Carmine as partners, showing the speed and brotherhood of their early operation and where each betrayal began. Tony marries Rosalie and she pushes him toward legitimacy while Carmine stays nocturnal and possessive of their partnership. Tony makes deals behind Carmine's back and eventually uses fed informants to clear rival territory, which Carmine discovers. Tony cuts him out entirely the night he tells him the empire was built for his children, not for them. The final five minutes return to the present, with Carmine's body bagged. Vincent drives to it and sits alone on the floor of his unfinished outskirts house.
8Walking After Midnight
Nina Valera systematically absorbs Carmine's routes and begins moving Bellotti-held territory into Valera Holdings. She stages a confrontation by sending a Valera truck deliberately into Bellotti territory, triggering a warehouse shootout that kills two and wounds Mick. Carla contacts Elena, who is raiding a Valera facility right now, and anonymously points her to Valera Logistics. Vincent and Nina meet for coffee where she proposes a truce, but Carla realizes the meeting was an inventory of what the Bellottis still hold rather than a genuine offer. Vincent calls Mick and tells him Valera is going to have Tara killed. Mick urgently calls Tara and tells her to wait at the apartment. He speeds toward the house. Tara is found shot dead in her apartment, with one clean wound, by Mick, who finds her on the floor and holds her. Elena arrives and they have a devastating argument before he breaks down and she pulls him in.
9Moonlight Milefinale
Tara's funeral is attended by the whole family in near silence. Mick walks away from Vincent at the graveside without anger, and the separation feels final. Vincent travels to Boston for a package pickup and walks into a deliberate ambush, spending the night chased through unfamiliar streets before locating the correct warehouse and realizing the real target was elsewhere. Nina personally oversees a formal dinner she has arranged for the Bellottis, checking exits and staff positioning and setting her plan into place. Vincent returns to Newark and plans to deal with Boston another day.
10This Bitter Earth
Nina hosts the Bellottis at a waterfront estate under a charity cover, intending to eliminate them. There is a certain atmosphere in the room. The Bellottis identify the setup early and strike first, turning Nina's coordinated plan into a collapsing firefight. Mick moves through the estate and corners Nina in a side room. He shoots her in the chest, killing her and her operation. The family survives but takes losses. They flee the waterfront venue, leaving the building in flames, destroying any evidence. In the aftermath, Dominic receives a message reading "," Boston remembers". A Boston shell company makes direct contact with the family.
